Personal Agent Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Personal Agent is a private, single-user personal productivity service operated by Peter Schillinger. It is not offered as a public service. This policy explains how the service handles Google user data when Peter authorizes Google API access.
Google data accessed
When Peter authorizes access, Personal Agent may access:
- Gmail data needed for inbox triage, including message metadata, labels, and message content only when necessary to classify a message or follow an explicitly requested action.
- Google Calendar data needed for personal planning and scheduling.
How Google data is used
Gmail data is used only to help Peter review and organize his own inboxes. The service may read relevant messages, apply labels, mark messages as read, or archive messages. It does not delete email. It does not automatically send email; any email send requires Peter’s explicit instruction.
Calendar data is used only for Peter’s personal planning. Any creation, update, or deletion of a Calendar event requires Peter’s explicit instruction.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Email remains in Peter’s mailbox. The service may retain limited operational state, such as message identifiers, labels, dates, and other metadata needed for delta-based inbox processing. It does not retain raw email content in its personal-memory or knowledge systems. Only a confirmed, materially relevant change may be saved as a privacy-minimised personal fact; it does not include raw email content or identifiers.
Operational state is retained only while it is useful for the service. Peter can revoke Google access through his Google Account and may request deletion of service-held personal data by contacting the operator.
Sharing and sale
Personal Agent does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their independent use. Data may be processed by Google to provide the authorized APIs and by infrastructure providers strictly to host Peter’s private service. No Google user data is transferred for advertising, creditworthiness decisions, insurance decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Security
The service uses access controls, encrypted transport, and restricted server-side storage intended to protect personal data. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Personal Agent’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
